Who run the world? GIRLS.

March 8th 2020 marked the celebration of International Women’s day! Your social media was probably filled with honoring all the women in your lives and around the world.

And it was no different with us.

ZIND Performing Academy is operated and run by females. All of us have other full time day jobs, families, and some of us are even still in school.

The world is changing and there has never been a better time to be a woman.

I see women playing the role of wife, mom, daughter, sister AND boss, manager, CEO. Contrary to popular belief, we as women can do all the things. I see more and more women stepping out of the norm, investing in themselves and striving to be their best versions.

Women are stepping up now more than ever to take control of their lives and pursue their true purpose and calling.

It is our duty to encourage those initiatives and the way we do that as instructors is through dance.

I can’t tell you how many girls I see that have so much greatness in them already at the old age of 7 years old.

When asked “what do you want to be when you grow up?”, I hear time and time again :

“A doctor and a dance teacher.”

“A lawyer and a dance teacher.”

“Something with computers and a dance teacher.”

In our own way, in our small little world of dance, we are paving the way for the next generation of girls to shine in the world; to accomplish all their hopes and dreams.

Let’s celebrate all the women around the world who make the choice everyday to show up, serve, lead and inspire.

We are the example that they witness, the positive impact they need and the women they strive to be.
